F1 Championship Standings Before Korean GP
Here is the current situation in both championship standings. The World Constructor’s Championship is certainly much closer than it has been in the past. Ferrari are only 20 points behind McLaren and have pulled out a bit of a gap between themselves and Lotus. Red Bull are still comfortably ahead however that margin too seems to be shrinking. With only five races left, it is doubtful anyone will catch the running Bulls, especially given their recent form.

A dramatic difference at the top of the World Driver’s championship. After the last round, Vettel has closed the gap from a massive 29 points to a miniscule four points. Formula One has a seriously close battle for the crown now. If one were to acknowledge Hamilton with a chance at playing spoiler, then one might want to give the same acknowledgement to Raikkonen. The gap to the leaders does seem rather large, however, as we have seen, one race can make a very big difference in the overall championship picture .
