#F1 : Indian GP Review Poem for Gearz Program On Ballz Radio (SA)

by on October 31, 2012
This poem was written for my mate Sasha Martinengo, “Petrol Head” host of the globally popular GEARZ radio show on Ballz Radio in South Africa.Welcome to GEARZ
On BALLZ Radio
Hold tight F1 fans

Because here we goLet’s take a look back
At the Indian Grand Prix
Where Red Bulls flew
And Cows roamed free

Leading from Pole
To checkered flag
The young German Vettel
Had this race in the bag

Alonso snagged second
He pushed hard as hell
If this keeps up though
He’ll bid the title farewell

Aussie Mark Webber
Ran a tough race
Having lost his KERS
His Red Bull lost pace

He finished in third
By less than one second
Hamilton gave chase
As the podium beckoned

Button came fifth
A ways behind
The soft compound tyres
To McLaren were unkind

Sixth came Massa
He was under restraint
Short fueled for the race
Was his main complaint

Unable to push
He was forced to conserve
He stopped on the circuit
Without fuel in reserve

Seventh was Kimi
He wasn’t impressed
No straight line speed
Is what Lotus confessed

The Hulk was P8
And Romain was P9
And Senna was tenth
Which for him was just fine

No rest for the wicked
Abu-Dhabi awaits
Then off to Austin
In the United States

The final round
Takes place in Brazil
Follow Sasha on GEARZ
And get your F1 fill
