F1 Malaysian GP Winners List 1999 – 2012
by The F1 Poet on March 20, 2013
I’ve had several requests over the week to post some figures. Sadly, the figures are not those of the tanned clad in swimsuit variety. Instead, my readers preferred to know fastest lap times and fastest pit stop times for the Australian GP.
For the Malaysian GP, you will find the weather forecast, a quick circuit fact sheet and the complete GP weekend schedule of events. Soon, I will be posting my Malaysian GP preview F1 Poem for shits and giggles. Below, I’ve posted, for your convenience, a list of all the previous winners of this race.
Fernando Alonso is the only driver to win the race with three different teams. He has won the race more time than any other active driver, having claimed victory on three different occasions. This is a record he shares with Michael Schumacher. Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen have both won in Kuala Lumpur twice.
Ferrari has been victorious on six occasions. Red Bull, Renault and McLaren are the other multiple winners with two victories each. Williams-BMW and Brawn are the only one time winners of this race .
