F1: Poem – Day One Of Testing

by on February 7, 2012

February 7th
And boy what a start.
F1 testing began
And many took part

It was Kimi’s return
He did not want to stop
He ended the day
At the very top spot

In the garage,
Sat an unhappy Mark,
Just waiting for parts
half day in the dark

Rosberg and Schumi
In the old Merc
And Caterham’s Heikki
walked around with a smirk

Massa flew round
Getting used to his car
Right behind Button
Who was ready to spar

Paul Di Resta
Seemed quite relaxed
in his Force India
that was washed and waxed

Paul Riccioardo
Finished in 5th
Quick on the draw
And forthwith

Pedro and Kobay
Enjoyed their first day
Their team mates await
A chance to play.

On to Tomorrow
Test day number two
So goodbye for now
As I bid you Adieu
