F1 Poem – From Japan To Korea

by on October 10, 2012

With Japan behind us and Korea just days away, the action is fast and furious and the battle for the title more intense.  Here is a little fun between the two GPs which are proving to be key in this season’s championship.

I am so looking forward
To The Flying Lap
Guest staring this week
That Craig Scarborough chap

There are so many questions
To ask Craig and Peter
About technical stuff
And Lewis the “Tweeter”

Before we continue
Let us wish, straight away,
Our friend Murray Walker
A Happy Birthday

Now Japan was a treat
If you like “The Finger”
For Vettel a win
For Alonso a stinger

With Last weekend’s Grand Prix
The tables have turned
The events of which
Have Ferrari concerned

By twenty-nine points
Alonso had led
But by only four points
He now is ahead

So tell us why Scarbs
Why was Red Bull so quick?
Is the new DDRS
Newey’s new trick?

What about Sauber
And their new front wing
Did that help Kobay
With his podium fling?

Japan was not kind
To the McLaren pair
To top it all off
There was that Twitter affair

Who unfollowed who?
You weren’t following me?
My bad said Lewis
In his apology

Grosjean bumped Webber
Into turn one
The race for them both
Was just about done

Congrats to Massa
On the podium at last
Who never did realize
His car was this fast

There was no happier man, though
In Japan last week
Than Kamui Kobayashi
As he grinned cheek to cheek

With Japan left behind
In our rear-view mirror
The championship race
Is a wee bit clearer

So on to Korea
There is no time to rest
The battle continues
To discover who’s best

With five races left
It’s a two-horse race
An exciting finish
To this championship chase
